Department of Plant Pathology
The Plant Pathology department provides plant diagnostic services to the Farmers and the general public of local area as well as to the students. The laboratory is an important source of accurate, unbiased information on plant diseases caused by plant pathogens such as fungi, bacteria viruses and nematodes etc. The Department is dedicated to encouragement of use of fungal, bacterial and bio-control agents in agriculture for controlling the various plant diseases, and also provides a training programme on Mushroom Cultivation.
